Anyone who has had their DNA tested with the PRA DNA Study can now plug their numbers into a site to be found in the following article: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/GENEALOGY-DNA/2004-03/1078148491 The Sorenson foundation has set up the site so that if you find a close match with your Y chromosome DNA, when you do a search, it spits back an actual Pedigree at you! No living people included. This is unlikely to be anyone you are related to in a recent time frame yet since they only have about 5600 men in the database at the moment but it will grow to over 20,000 very soon as they put all their data online. This only works for men at the moment but they plan to add mitochondrial DNA soon. This is the way of the future check it out. I recommend getting tested with our PRA study since we have 50 Penningtons and growing that you could match we also test slightly different markers so there is only an overlap of 19 markers with the Sorenson DNA database.
