Rene'e, I think I let you know in an aside that a person who thought he was group 26 (Richard of WV) DNA matches very closely groups 9 and just as closely groups 19 and 29. We really need more volunteers from group 26 to confirm or deny this since the person tested may simply have been from group 9, 19 or 29 and they didn't know this. I have improved the table so the data can be read easier and when Gene gets back (I think he was away this weekend) he will put it on the website. I have also revised the text on the DNA Study so it is up to date. These are exciting times for the DNA Study and in three or four weeks we might have some stunning news we will see! N.P. Can you narrow down a time period ? My Family Group 9 Pennington migrated from MD into VA and WV 1600-1750. I can tell you that I don't have any Rowsey's in the tree as yet. Perhaps you are a new branch. Pendleton Cty. is right on the VA border next to Rockingham VA in 1880 where some of our Pennington ancestors traveled through going west. Hampshire Cty. is where most of my recent ancestors stayed and farmed. Lincoln Cty. is on the western border of WV. 1880. I have not worked in Lincoln Cty. yet for kin.
