    3. Paul and Others, Just an idea! Last year my 5 g-grandfather William Braithwaite, a Revolutionary War Veteran was GIVEN a new gravestone by the Veteran's Adm. During the ceremony, the Son of the American Revolution (Leesburg Chapter in VA) and the State Honor Guard presented at the grave marking. The only real cost was LABOR from everyone pitching in to clean up the area. So, any of you that have veterans as ancestors might want to check into this. Thanks for posting, Paul. It took us about 9 months to get authorization from the Vet's Adm. but it was certainly worth the wait.
