Hi Cousins, It's interesting - as I continue to update our Group 9 file, I am amazed. The information it contains, I have been able to find sources although most of the sources are of the secondary type. All of us have heard of the inaccuracies in the original JFMF and I am sure that before I finish all of the 11 generations (at the age of 90), mistakes will be found. But, for the most part the descendants who sent information were correct, they just forgot to send the 'endnotes or sources" when they sent their gedcom. So, I am making up for lost time. This past weekend, I have added sources and notes to the first generation of Grp. 9 and the updates will continue. I have to say - that I love the new website. When we (G.L.)(Group Leaders) update the Pennington files, the website automatically send a "news flash" to all of the members on the website a file has been updated ! I love that !! All we G.L.'s have to do is add to the news what particular information was changed so that our members don't have to sift through the whole file try to find what was added. Sure saves time. ;>) For those of you that have yet to sign up on the Myfamily website, I will continue to post the updates on our mailing list as well for your for convenience. Please, as you search through the files, let us know on the mailing list, when if you find errors. It is going to take all of us working together to make the files accurate for future generations. Everyone have a good week!! Rene'e Davis, CFO ARD, Family Groups PRA - Group 9 Pennington Research Association, Inc. www.penningtonresearch.org
