My gr-grandmother, Harriett BURNS LOTRIDGE, was the older sister of Margaret BURNS Pennington. Margaret's family came from Washington Co, PA via Guernsey Co, OH to Grant County, IN. Margaret's marriage to Aaron Pennington was the first wedding [c. 1846]performed in Grant Co, Indiana, according to a source in the Marion [IN] Public Library. Because I am at a brick wall in my research for the Lotridge ancestors of Harriett's husband Levi Lotridge/LOTHERAGE, I am trying to locate all I can find on this particular line of Penningtons. Perhaps I will find a clue to Levi's past prior to 1850 in Grant Co, Indiana. Margaret and Aaron Pennington are buried in Thrailkill Cemetery , Swayzee, Indiana.
