Sorry to muddy the waters but....unless there are two descendants of Absalom with Louisiana heritage in the DNA Study that I am unaware about, that individual tested a perfect match to group 8b! He did not have any sign of a Viking link (not that a grouping of I1a or R1a is firm proof of this anyway). Somebody has their wires crossed here. I am not 100% sure that it is not me since I have no dates or firm place for the origin of this Absalom descendent but I think we only have one.
