Dear List and Barb T, Barb,I have been in contact with you before and you answered some of my questions.I have tryed to find the 14 children of Samuel.If I should ever get passed that I will work on Samuel's dad etc. I have found maybe the first?family of William P. the third child of Samuel and Martha.I sent to Leavenworth Prison and got papers on 2 Penningtons.The W.E that died at Ft.Leavenworth is the one I think Mr. Townsend spoke of in an old Pedigree of being the son of William P. Pennington.I would love to find out who the mother was of W.E.?Anyone know? Leavenworth also send another one and it was W.A.Pennington they both would use alis of the other.I think W.A. name was Archie and his mom was

Peggy, I am Ron (Hauser) Pennington in Gene's (Group 7). I am interested in any information about an Adrian (Jack) Leon Pennington B. 1918- D.1957 that was in Ft. Leavenworth Prison. He was my birth father and I don't know how to get any info on him. He was sent there in the 40's for the Running whisky in Oklahoma and also was AWOL from Fort Hood Texas During WW2. Sorry about the Bad Apple in the Pennington Family, but I think we all have some on both sides of law,politicks and religion. Good luck and thanks if you have any info. Ron, Have you gotten a death record for your father? I would think that you should be able to get his prison record. Since he was in the military you should be able to get his records. As his son, you can easily get those records by requesting them. You might be able to get copies of his arrest record - if not, do some footwork and check the newspapers. You never know what you find. As for a "bad" apple - my great grandfather was told to either leave OK in the late 20's or go to prison. He chose to leave and came to ID.
