Still, they seem to be centered around Alabama and Oklahoma. I forgot to say that Ancestry.com came up with a one-line death record for Adrain Leon Pennington who died Aug.6, 1958 in Collin Co. TX. So that is your father, at least. Yes, I think that Ancestry is very helpful but takes some patience, esp. with the new format. Their database grows larger all the time. The downside is they charge more and more. I find it's worth it for me. I've found so much on my lines thru them. Since they usually have the actual images, it can be used for documenation, too. I don't mean to try to sell Ancestry to you. I just enjoy it. Send me some questions and I'll enjoy trying to find answers. Again, I have a tendency to forget all the committments I make, so jog my memory if I don't get back to you. I will use the info you sent and see what pops up on Ancestry on them. I love genealogy.
