Dear Mike: Butch Bridges column put us in touch with one another! My Mother, now deceased, was descendant of the Pennington family, which connects with the Boones in Kentucky (1798-1828). My Mother and Dad were born and raised in Wills Point, Van Zandt Co., TX, and I was also born there. I do a lot of family genealogy and have written it down, and keep datafiles which include the Pennington surname. I am in Group IV, which is the Ephraim Pennington progenitor. Dr. William "Bill" Pennington is President of Murray State College, Tishomingo, OK. He descends from the Ephraim>Richard Pennington lineage also. There is a Pennington Creek that goes through Tishomingo, is in Johnston County.
