I have several Benjamin Franklin Houston's in my family line. It would probably not be impossible that when the Houston line married into the Pennington line (my gg grandmother) that a Pennington was named this. But then again, it is a famous name. If anyone thinks this could be the case, I can share my family line that I have. Peggy Pound Group 8 ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

To provide better value to our members and other Pennington researchers, I to started a blog for the Pennington Research Association. Many genealogy associations and companies are now using blogs to post information, solicit comments, ideas and suggestions and to share their research and pictures. Blogs are interactive and allow both the creator of the blog and visitors to post comments and material so everybody can share them. Blogs are replacing the "ezines" (electronic newsletters sent via e-mail) and have many advantages. Some have suggested this could be the modern equivilant of the Pennington Cousin's Couriers. When you visit the new blog, feel free to leave a comment. The PRA blog has an RSS feed that you can use with any RSS Reader or if you use Google or Yahoo or MSN as one of your web pages, you can place the RSS feed directly on your web browser's page to keep up to date with postings on the blog. It is with pleasure for me to announce the appointment of the new Assistant Group Leader for Group 28, Frances L. Perry. Frances comes highly recommended for the job from Melinda Pennington and Paul A. Pennington, Group Leader for Group 28. She has extensive knowledge of the Pennington family members of Group 28 and is currently working closely with family members to get an accurate detailed family history. She will soon be creating a new Group 28 website in the next coming weeks. Frances and Paul will split the tasks for keeping Group 28 current and active including updating the Group 28 family tree on the PRA Member's only website hosted by MyFamily.com. I know you all join me in wishing Frances the best in her new assignment and that she can count on all of us to help.
