TANNER, born March 1859, Virginia, died ca 1910-12; son of William Henry TANNER and Eliza ??? I do not have a marriage record for Sallie and William, but estimate they were married around 1884-85. By "home place at Blackridge" I am referring to the residence of Thomas M. Poythress. However, land transactions would lead us to expect that the "home place" is on land once owned by Lewis Poythress. Whether Lewis resided at or near the site of the Thomas M.
