Pictures of: Ynyscedwyn Ironworks, Glanrhyd (BRE); and Porthcawl (GLA) Dear Listers, Next week's 'Retrospective Images of Wales' webpages, uploaded two days early onto my website, include: 1. The cathedral-like remains of the old Ynyscedwyn Ironworks at Glanrhyd near Ystradgynlais, county of Breconshire (one picture). This was one of the very first 'Images of Wales' features, dating from November 1997. 2. The seaside resort of Porthcawl in the county of Glamorgan (six pictures). This feature was first shown on 'Images of Wales' in August 1999. As usual, these webpages will be on display for about one week. 'Retrospective Images of Wales' is at www.jlb2005.plus.com/walespic/retro/retro.htm While there, take the time to explore my 'Webpage Archive' and make your own Retrospective requests.
