    2. Hello Diana, The best way for you to find out about Skkynlas I suppose, is to look at the National Library of Wales website, and type in Skynlas. For now though. I can tell you it is Glasebury. Now there are two parts to Glasebury. Half in Breconshire and half in Radnorshire. So, borderline in any case. Llandeilo Graban is in Radnorshire, but close to the border with Breconshire. Llandewi Cwm is just over the border into Breconshire, and one of my family moved to a farm there in 1891. The next parish from Llandeilo Graban is Llanbedr Painscastle, which is not far from Hay on Wye. The Skynlas connection goes back to the early 1800s and even into the 1700s. There is an elizabeth Probert, blind from birth according to the census information, and she seems to have been shunted from one of the family to the next in each census year. But, she was connected to the Smith side of my family from Llanbedr Painscastle. And it was the Smith line that married into the Baptist cause. Elizabeth Probert was a daughter of Revd. Evan Probert. I believe he died in Bristol. I was told that, I have not found him. A cousin in Florida and I took a great interest in poor Elizabeth Probert. If you think I am being too vague, then I am sorry. But, I have been doing family history research for 26 years, so have gathered all sorts of information from all over the country in that time. Not through the internet either. Ground work mostly. So, you see, I have hundreds of names and places floating around in my head. Some of the details buried just below the surface. If I find anything more specifice for you,I shall be sure and let you know. Don't worry. At present though, I am very tied up helping someone from Llanelli with their tree, so my head is full of that at the moment. Good to hear from you though. thanks, Maureen
