I am planning a family history trip to England and Wales to continue my research and hopefully visit some of the places my ancestors lived. I'm wondering how likely it is that the cottages they lived in are still standing. Is anyone familiar with any of the areas below? Kinnerton - My ancestor, Edward Hughes, lived at "Bank", Kinnerton from at least 1841-1871. The names of other cottages/addresses on the same census page, if I'm reading them correctly; Yonkin, Whitty's, Field __ Cottage (a mason lived there), Rackway, and Bank. Do any of these sound familiar? In 1881, another ancestor, Edmond Rogers, lived in Reeves Cottage, Brampton Bryan. Other places mentioned on the same census page; Park House, Park Cottage. In 1891, he lived in a cottage in Burrington Village, near Burrington Village School. My ancestors also lived in Rodd Nash, Little Brampton and in Combe. How well preserved are these areas? Thanks, Kathryn
