A burglarious entrance was effected into Iscoed House, Carmarthenshire (the seat of Rev. Edw. PICTON0, on the night of Thursday sennight; but happily the family were awakened, and the robbers foiled in their expectations of a booty. A reward of £50 is offered for the discovery of the offenders; and we sincerely hope it may produce the desired effect of bringing the villains to justice. The Pembrokeshire Fox Hounds meet on Monday next at Canaston Bridge, and on Tuesday at Wolfsdale. The Hannah, which arrived in Plymouth on Monday, picked up off the Lands End the stern, some sails, rigging, and spars of a vessel which proves to have been part of the Spring, belonging to Truro, MOFFET, master, which has been missing since the late gales. The Arcadia, FOSTER, from Bristol, bound to New York, is put into Milford, leaky. The Mary, MORGAN, from Cork to Bristol, with a great number of pigs on board, struck on the Molt Stones, off Ilfracombe, on Sunday evening last, in thick fog, and almost immediately sunk. Crew saved. On the same evening, a brig, from Bordeaux for Bristol, with brandy, ran ashore near Clevedon, but has been got off without damage. The Emerald, DAVIS, from Redwharf to Barmouth, sunk in going to Beaumaris, on Sunday evening. At a meeting of the Merchants, Manufacturers, and Traders of Bristol, held on Tuesday last, at the Guildhall, it was resolved to petition parliament for the repeal of the Receipt Stamp Duty, on the ground of its unequal and vexatious operation. Several of the parishes in Bristol have resolved upon petitioning Parliament against the Catholic Claims. In the night of Saturday sennight, eleven fat sheep were stolen from a farm at Trelleck, Monmouthshire. The sheep were subsequently over Bigswear Bridge, through the Forest, to Birch Hill Wood, near Park End Work, Gloucestershire, where four were found killed and dressed, and the remainder with their legs tied, ready for slaughter.
