For all listers within reach of London: Our final meeting of 2007 is next Saturday, 6th October at 2pm when the speaker will be Dr Bill Jones Senior Lecturer in History, HISAR, Crdiff University on the topic of "Emigration from Wales to Patagonia". If you intend using London Transport please check that there are no engineering works on your proposed route as TfL seem to be closing large sections of the underground system at the same time....... We ask for a £3 donation each meeting towards the hire of the room and speakers' expenses together with an annual payment of £5 each October. Please note that from January 2008 meetings will be held at the Family History Centre ("FHC") in Kensington at 2pm. Dates for 2008 are as follows: 19th January 2008 - AGM and Members' Interests 5th April 2008 5th July 2008 4th October 2008 Two of the topics for the April, July and October meetings will be: "Patronymics" (Anne Jones) and "Barbarous practices?
