    3. Hello List, A belated thank you to those who made suggestions about getting B,M, D certificates. I did figure out how to order the on-line. This week I found my 3xgreat grandfather, Jeremiah Bebb in Llandinam, and when he christened my 2xgreat grandfather his occupation was listed as "badger." Searching for what this might mean, I found the following suggestions: 1) Licensed pauper - wore a badge with "P" on it and was restricted to working a defined area (origin of "Badgering") 2) Corn Miller or Dealer 3) Itinerant food trader Does anyone know which meaning is most is likely for Wales around 1814?? Thanks for your help. Pam Perryman Eugene, Oregon, USA
