On Sunday last, at his house in Spring Garden-terrace, London, Charles BICKNELL, Esq. in his 77th year of his age. He held for upwards of thirty years the office of Solicitor of the Army and Navy. He was also a Commissioner of the Board of Green Cloth and Receiver of First Fruits. He was long honoured with the personal friendship of his Sovereign, was universally esteemed as a man of high integrity, and died regretted by all who knew him. At Falmouth, on Saturday se'nnight, of consumption, whither he had gone for the change of air, James EASTON, one of the Society of Friends, and formerly a resident of Bristol. Lately, in Liverpool, Mr. T. HUGHES, school-master, of St. George, Denbighshire. He was a person of exemplary character, and regretted by all his relations and acquaintance. His deportment through life was benevolent and sincere. On Sunday se'nnight, whilst drinking tea, and, to the appearance of those around her, in good health, Mrs. PHILLIPS, of the Coinpasses Inn, Tetbury; she fell suddenly from her chair a corpse.
