Hi, You may remember that I posted a query some time ago about my GG Grandfather Richard Monnington. It would appear that his mother was a Mary Mumford. A friend discovered this baptism entry 17 Oct 1819 'baptised Richard Monington bastard son of Richard Monington, Labourer and Mary Mumford Norton Village'. I do know from my GG Grandfathers army records & marriage cert that his father was listed as Richard Monnington, Labourer and that his mother was called Mary.
