    3. I am pleased to announce that baptism, marriage and burial records of eleven more Montgomeryshire parishes have been added to the familyhistoryonline site. This takes the number of parishes to twenty, with more to follow when I have time to finish processing them! You will find the names of the parishes and years covered at: http://www.familyhistoryonline.net/database/MontgomeryGSprs.shtml These records are produced as part of the project of the Montgomeryshire Genealogical Society to transcribe and publish the county's parish records. Details of the society and a list of publications can be seen at http://home.freeuk.net/montgensoc/ I, and my volunteer transcribers, would like to see some feedback on this list about making these records available in this format! Bryn Ellis

You may have noticed that most parishes online so far ar in northern Monts, which is where we began the project. I'm afraid that it will be quite some time before we get to the southern bits! Bryn

    3. Thank you Bryn. My interests lie in the Machynlleth area and I am finding I need to search records in Montgomeryshire, Cardiganshire and Merionethshire. All your efforts are much appreciated. best wishes, Pam (in France)
