    3. Dear List, Does anyone know of John Jones c1808 a farmer with wife Elizabeth in the 1861 census at Dolfor Hall, Kerry, Newtown. He was born in Bettws Montg. I have a vicar of Kerry Rev. John Jenkins marrying a Miss Jones of Cross Wood House on the 19th April 1823. I think that this John Jenkins is related to my Jenkins family for the following reasons. 1. William Marsden Jenkins 1841 BA Oxon and died August 1869 at Dolfor Hall {son of Richard Jenkins 1808 Tredegar son of Richard Jenkins 1776 to 1843 (died at Tredegar but do not know where he was born for sure) he is down as a gentleman on most paperwork}. William Marsden Jenkins 1841 was the curate at Dolfor for a short while. 2. I have looked for this Rev. John Jenkins in the Church of England archives and cannot find him. In the Cambrian Index I have the Rev. John Jenkins MA Vicar of Kerry, Prebendary of Mathrey, scholar in Welsh Literature, notice of death on the 5th December 1829. Can anyone suggest how I go forward on finding this Rev. John Jenkins birthplace. with thanks Diana
