    3. Hello. When I was on holiday recently on Anglesey researching my Llanfair Yn Howyn ancestors I was lucky to find a marriage entry in the Llangefni Record Office for my ancestor, in the Index to Anglesey Marriages compiled by Mr Mrs Hind. The Llanfair Yn Howyn parish registers start in 1813 and I was looking for a marriage earlier than that so I was surprised to find my 1801 marriage in the Anglesey Index. On enquiry it turns out that the entry is gleaned from the Bishops Transcripts but they are held at The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. They begin in 1754 for Llanfair Yn Howyn. Now that I am back in Manchester I am desperate to get my hands on that full marriage entry! If there is a kind soul on the list going to the Library sometime would they have a moment to have a look at the Llanfair Yn Howyn, Anglesey BT's for me? The entry is John Owen and Elizabeth Williams November 20th 1801.I am particularly interested in where John came from. My grateful thanks if someone is able to do that for me. Best wishesDot Hughes _________________________________________________________________ Feel like a local wherever you go with BackOfMyHand.com http://www.backofmyhand.com
