Best to use "Reply All" function in the future. Many/most of us are far away from Wales -- I live in the U.S. This does not mean you don't have access to records via other means. As for the marriage of Mary JONES to Richard Charles EVANS, do you know if the marriage took place in Wales or did they emigrate with their respective families and meet in the U.S.? If in Wales, it was most common to be married in the home parish of the bride. It should be relatively easy to search for the index entry for the marriage using the online http://www.northwalesbmd.org.uk/bmd_welcome.html and http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ Search using Richard and a separate search for Charles -- it was not uncommon for someone who had a middle name to use it instead of the forename.
