    3. Dear Listers, I'm still working steadily through my collection of photographs of churches and chapel, and adding them to the 'Welsh Churches and Chapels' feature on my website (see www.jlb2005.plus.com/walespic/churches/). A few months ago I photographed a former nonconformist chapel situated in Tower Street, Crickhowell. The building has been converted into high class self-catering holiday accommodation, but I'm trying to find out about the origins of the chapel building. As it is not identified on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map on the Old-Maps website (www.old-maps.co.uk/), I suspect it was built in the late 19th century or early 20th century. It does not seem to be listed in the Coflein database (www.coflein.gov.uk/). Can anyone tell me anything about the chapel? When was it built, and by whom? What religious denomination did it represent? When did it close down? I'd be very grateful for any help. 3. Hi John, The Capel database lists it, but does not say which denomination used this chapel. In the Non-comformist Register by the NLW it gives two chapels in Crickhowell: Tanycastell Calvinistic at SO 21721818 No Name Wesleyan at SO21621832 Not much help but may eliminate some possibilities.
