The icon on the right did nothing at all for me, but I could enlarge the map by using the scale on the left. ================= Hello both, I have pop-ups enabled for the Old-Maps website, but I don't know whether this is of any relevance to the problem. Gordon - Are you attempting to use your browser's own built-in zoom function? That's the only thing I can think of that would trigger the warning notice you've received. Otherwise I'm afraid I don't understand the cause of problems you're experiencing. John Hokins - Using the zoom bar on the left only displays a small area of the image, contained within the rectangular frame. Using the 'Enlarge Map' icon (the bottom of the four icons on the right tab) opens the full sized image in a completely new browser window, which you can resize (maximise) to fill your entire screen. Unless you have a very large monitor, the image will overflow the screen, but you can use your browser's horizontal and vertical scroll bars to examine the entire image. This is a much more satisfactory method than using the 'panning' arrows located round the small rectangular frame. By default I use the Microsoft IE7 browser, but I've just repeated the exercise using Firefox 2 without any difficulty. The only difference is that the enlarged map opened in a new browser *tab* rather than in a completely new browser window, but the result is just as good. 3. You are correct John B. It is all in the pop ups. Once you allow them for that site, you get what you describe in a new window. And it is far superior to using the zoom bar. My apologies to you and Gordon.
