Hi Shirley, My records confirm the info. on the North Wales BMD site [it ought to anyhow!!] When I searched the North wales BMD site on David Lloyd on his own for 1838 I found two marriages with an Elizabeth Jones at Llanfyllin Church - refs: CL/10/1/4 and CL/10/1/6. None with an Elizabeth Evans. Two points to consider: 1. That we made an error in transcription on one of these. OR 2. Your info is incorrect. If you fill the details relating to one of these marriages on the form that comes up on the North Wales BMD site and explain the problem on a separate sheet I am certain that the registrar at the Welshpool office [they also have the Llanfyllin district records there] will check and advise, should you send a SAE with the form requesting such advice.
