I did get the marriage certificate though -Thank you for that.? I am surprised that the church is just called Llanfihangel as there were several!!!? Are you totally sure it was Llanfihangel Rhydithon? Was Anna Maria at home with her father David in Cwmdauddwr ? (this is currently the favoured spelling, I believe!!? Lloyd Lewis lives there - & some of my ancestors did too).? I am sure that someone will have told you thatTy newydd means New House (& of course, again there were lots!!) I do hope that your trip to the archives was productive & that you saw a bit of the locality. Would love to hear about it when you have time.?
