Baptism, Burial and Marriage records of three more Montgomeryshire parishes [Berriew, Newtown, Llanllwchaiarn] were added to the familyhistoryonline site just before Christmas. This takes the number of parishes online to 29. You will find the names of the parishes and years covered at: http://www.familyhistoryonline.net/database/MontgomeryGSprs.shtml These records are produced as part of the project of the Montgomeryshire Genealogical Society to transcribe and publish the county's parish records. Details of the society and a list of publications can be seen at http://home.freeuk.net/montgensoc/ Happy hunting! Bryn Ellis
Hello, After many years researching my family history, I am now looking at my wife's ancestors. I am interested in a KINSEY family who lived in Llanbister, and Beguildy (later Stowe and Weston, Shropshire), during the 19th century. They were; John (born c.1813, Llanbister) and Ann (c.1815, Nantmel) KINSEY, Their children were; John c.1835, Llanbister Mary c.1837, Llanbister Thomas c.1840, Llanbister William c.1842, Beguildy Ann c.1848, Beguildy Hannah c.1852, Beguildy Stephen c.1855, Beguildy James J c.1858, Beguildy I would like to find out what church they might have attended (for Baptism/marriage/burial records, etc), and I would like to know how they were related to the other KINSEYs in the Llanbister area at that time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Mark Ashwell ________________________________________________________________________ AOL's new homepage has launched.
