PS I attended the funeral of Jeff Hope in Newbridge recently, the last of the large Hope older family there, with links to Abergwesyn, Rhayader, and St Harmon. Two of Raymond's sons still run the family business there with Ray's wife Ivy, all good people. Jeff was in Gloucester Tax Office for many years after his RAF service in WW2.
