Joy Would your Charles Pyke have been a 19 year old soldier in 1881 in Suffolk?? The 1881 census shows only one Yorkshire born Charles Pyke of about the right age, but he was born in Hull.? I am very surprised that the 1901 census had his age so wrong!!? but these things do happen.
