Hello List, I recently found the UK National Archives collection of nonconformist births, marriages and death records from 1567 online. The bubble was burst when I realized it would cost me $5 a hit to look at the records. (Searching is free, but to see the details is 5 credits, which translates to $5 for me in NY.) Is there anyplace to view these records free? I understand the Family History Centre in London is closing- not sure if the records were there? Also, can someone explain what RG 4, RG 5, or BT 158-160 refer to? Are these just Register references? Thank you for any explanation!
