The surname is Higgins and the name James was a common given name. It is said that there is a family plot at St. Beunos Church in Berriew, where a not inconsiderable monument marks the site. We are probably thinking late 18th, early to mid 19th century and possibly later. Regards Paul Higgins Hi Paul, I have the booklets of MIs for Berriew and Bettws and have offered lookups.
