Catherine, Further to my previous posting, I decided to look again at FreeBMD for all EDMUNDS births registered in Breconshire between Dec. Qtr. 1910 and 1920. The early ones do not include the mother's maiden surname but the later births do and there were a number of children registered before your John in 1919 -- some of them, at least, appear to belong to your Benjamin and Emily but there are some cases where two children were registered closely together in time so it'll take some detective work: March Qtr. 1911 Edmunds, Edgar (No mother's surname) Crickhowell, 11b, 80 and another possibility: June Qtr. 1911 Edmunds, Annie M. (No mother's surname) Crickhowell, 11b, 80 (Questionable but interesting) June Qtr. 1913 Edmunds, Harriet O. Edmunds Crickhowell, 11b, 182 March Qtr. 1814 -- 2 entries! Edmunds, Margaret A. Rees Crickhowell, 11b, 143 and Edmunds, William B. Rees Crickhowell, 11b, 161 June Qtr. 1915 Edmunds, Mary M.N. Rees Pontardawe, 11a, 2161 and Sept. Qtr. 1915 Edmunds, Cissie Rees Crickhowell, 11b, 172 March Qtr. 1916 Edmunds, Benjamin Rees Crickhowell 11b, 128 (Your John registered 1919) Dec.
