    1. [POWYS] MORGAN REES
    2. Hi List, I am trying to track MORGAN REES, who married an ELIZABETH JENKINS in 1844 at Tabor Chapel in the district of Crichowell on 10th July 1844. he is down as a minor/batchelor occupation Pudler in the Residence it looks like Brynmawr, but I 'm not sure of that in the parish of Lanelly in the county of Brecon. His father is down as THOMAS REES, again I cannot read his profession. Elizabeth is down as a Minor/Spinster from Nanty Glo in the parish of Aberystruth in the county of Monmouth. Her father is WILLIAM JENKINS, occupation Collier. They have a son THOMAS REES born 19th July 1843! Born in Nanty Glo and registered in Abergavenny. Father MORGAN REES Occupation Pudler, mother ELIZABETH REES formerly JENKINS. I have been unable to trace these three on the 1841,1851 and 1861, census'. Thomas crops up again on the 1871 census living as a lodger with his future wife's family. Has anyone any ideas where they might have disappeared to. Any help would be gratefully received. Many Thanks. Pauline
