Hi All I thought I would list my interests in Powys. My 2x Great-grandfather was a farmer and the parish clerk for Cathedin on the 1851 census, which gave his date of birth as about 1796 in Cathedin. I think he married an Elizabeth Price from Trallong on 28 Aug1830 and one of their children was John Jones, born about 1843 in Cathedin. Does anyone have access to the Parish records for Cathedin from the late 18th century. I would love to find Henry Jones or John Jones christening records. David HB

The register for the late 1700s is unreadable on film. Next time I'm at the National Library I will check the BTs to see if Henry is listed. There seems to be a good run of dates for this period.
