    1. Re: [POWYS] Parish Registers to search?
    2. Jill & Mike
    3. Hello Dawn, This may/may not be of help to you but never know until you try, right? My Chambers Family who moved over the border to Wales from Hereford lived in a village called Burghill and at least one of the Chambers family married into the Walters/Warlters family there .Katherine Chambers married William Walters at Hereford Cathedral in 1746. Hereford is about 25 miles from Abergavenny so not that far away. Lots of people from that area migrated to the ironworks areas looking for work so worth a look at the Burghill Registers I would think. If you find a Burghill connection I would love to know, regards Jill. ----- Original Message ----- From: "D & H Stanton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2010 3:44 AM Subject: [POWYS] Parish Registers to search? > Hello again Listers, > > I am still searching WATERS/WALTERS and I really don't know where to look, > now. > I think I might have to search every Parish Register between Monmouthshire > and Brecon!!
