    3. Hi Mary https://beta.familysearch.org Joannes Mcgrath Bap 06 Mar 1845 Clifton, Gloucester, England 21 Jan 1845 Father Edwardi Mcgrath Margaritae Daly Do you know what their religious affiliation was? I have previously come across a group of families who moved between Bristol and Durham and other places who were Baptists. One of these also had gaps in the census and eventually I found evidence of them doing missionary work in India. Nicola -----Original Message----- Dear Marlene and Jill Thank you for your replies. Edward's wife's name was Margaret not Mary. They had four children that I know of - John born Brecon c1829, Edward born Ireland c 1837, Ann (Johanna) born Newport, Wales c1840 , Frances, born Bristol,GLS. 1842. John, Edward and Ann's dob deduced from 1861 census; I have Francis' birth certificate. In 1861 they were all living in County Durham ENG. - They certainly moved around! On Francis' birth cert. Edward's occupation is stated as labourer - so he has left the army. I haven't found the family on either 1841 or 1851 census. I have had two professional researchers also searching for this family between 1829 and 1861 with no luck. Margaret is a widow in 1861 census. I have Ann's marriage cert for 1858 in Merthyr Tydfil, she married a George King. Thanks again ladies Mary Australia ------------------------------ To contact the POWYS list administrator, send an email to [email protected] To post a message to the POWYS mailing list, send an email to [email protected] __________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word "unsubscribe" without the quotes in the subject and the body of the email with no additional text.
