Hi, As John Ball says there is very little activity on the list I wonder if I could ask a question. I have a 3 x gt aunt called Rachel Maddy who was baptised 1801 in Llyswen Church to Evan Maddy and Ann (Penry) Maddy. She had a brother Evan Maddy also baptised Llyswen Church 1803. I have all the information relating to Evan but not Rachel. I have not been able to find any marriage for Rachel. Her mother died in 1815 when she would have been around 14. The only thing I have found is that there was a Rachel Griffiths living at House at Tregoyd Mill in the 1841 Census for the Hundred of Talgarth who would have been around the right age of 38. Her age actually has a question mark against it. There was a John Griffiths aged 55 also living there who was an agricultural labourer, and a Thomas Griffiths aged 10. As my Rachel Maddy's grandmother was living at Tregoyd when she passed away in 1806 I wondered if there might be a connection and this might be my Rachel married to John Griffiths. If anyone is chasing Griffiths family perhaps they have a Rachel in their family tree who fits the bill. If so I would be grateful to hear from them. With best wishes. Sue in Suffolk
