Dear Listers As many list members are also members of the Powys FHS, I hope it is in order to use the list to express hearty thanks, congratulations and good wishes to Lloyd Lewis, who is stepping down as Editor of Cronicl, after 11 years and 32 issues of the Journal. He has done a splendid job producing three highly readable issues a year, and contributing many interesting articles and photos himself. I see that he recently received another Elizabeth Simpson Award, one of many presented to him over the years in recognition of the high standard of the Journal. He has also personally helped numerous individuals to make progress with their Family History. Lloyd will be a hard act to follow, but maybe some list member may want to consider taking on the Editorship next year. (Perhaps a recently retired person, with a keen interest in Family History and IT skills?) I hope there is someone out there willing to take on this valuable role, and maintain the traditions of the Society's Journal. All good wishes for Christmas and the New Year to you, Lloyd, and to all Listers. Ruth
Well said, Ruth, Lloyd will be a very hard act to follow. With very best Christmas wishes to Lloyd, John Ball and all Listers.
