Hi List, Seeing John's comments on list activity, how about a new game called, "Lost - but not found." Rather than chasing missing ancestors, lets chase siblings who disappear. These are very often initially found after a search of a census or parish register. The idea is that you submit details in a logical way so that search engines can pick them up easier. For example, I have: In Meifod, Robert HUMPHREYS and Mary JONES had 3 children: Sorted: John Roberts HUMPHREYS, born 1839. (Surname later becomes HUMPHRIES) Missing: Elizabeth HUMPHREYS, born 1841. Last seen as a Dairy Maid, 1861, in Hannington in Wiltshire Missing: Mary Jane HUMPHREYS, born 1842. Last seem as a House Maid, in 1861, in Hannington in Wiltshire Missing: Joseph HUMPHREYS, born 1847, in Welshpool. Last seen as a House Painter, in 1901, Longsight, Manchester Cheers Mike
