The Powys list has always been one of my favorite lists, and I have learned a lot from it, since I'm an American researching my husband's Montgomeryshire ancestors. While I've visited the area, there's nothing to replace the knowledge of the people who grew up there and live there. As far as I can recall, people have always been very well-behaved and helpful towards others --- until a few situations during the last several days. IMHO (in my humble opinion), if an individual has an issue with how someone says something, it needs to be resolved off-list unless it relates directly to the interpretation of a record or another genealogy-related issue. Merry Christmas to all those who have helped me in the past, and to all those who may be undiscovered cousins.
