Dear Listers, Those of you who enjoy exploring the 'Welsh Churches and Chapels Collection' on my website may like to know that at 8:30 pm this evening, the BBC4 television channel is showing the third programme in a series entitled 'Churches: How to Read Them'. The series is presented by Richard Taylor, author of 'How to Read a Church - A Guide to Symbols and Meanings in Churches and Cathedrals' (Rider, London, 2003; ISBN 1-8441-3053-3). This evening's episode is entitled: "How churches were designed to give medieval people a way to 'escape' death".
