Hi Howard, Since you have just transcribed the Glasbury PRs perhaps you can answer a question for me. The downloadable PDF from the URL below shows many of the participants in marriages with a '+' sign after their names. It seems this can apply to bride, groom, or the witnesses. I haven't seen this before, and it doesn't seem to be defined anywhere in Thomas Wood's book. Is it shorthand for 'of this parish'? because, if so, how do I make sense of an entry like this on page 229: "1803 May 27th John Evans + of Clifford and Sarah Burgwyn +, Wit., John Michael, Ann Evans +" where it looks as though John Evans is from the parish of Clifford?
