Dear Listers, I'm trying to trace the descendants of one of my great grandmother's brothers from Penmachno, Caernarvonshire who moved to Glamorgan and was known to my mother as Uncle John South. I have traced a grandson and granddaughter to the 1911 Census and found that the granddaughter had married a Robert Jones who was born in Llanerfyl, Montgomeryshire. I wonder if there is anyone on the list who may be researching this family. The information from the 1911 Census is as follows: Robert Jones, Head, 35, married for 4 years, Stone Mason underground colliery, born Llanerfyl, Montgomery Mary Ann Jones, wife, 30, born Blaenau Ffestiniog, Merionethshire Mary Myfanwy Jones, dau, 3, born Bargoed John Williams, boarder, 38, Colliery hewer, born Rhuddlan, Denbighshire I would be most grateful for any leads.
