Hello Malcom, I have Rees Jones m Ann Prosser(widow)30 Nov 1786 Clyro John b15Nov1787 Clyro Sarah b 4Oct1789 Clyro m Evan Pugh13Oct1815 James b 11April 1793 Clyro A lady in Oz says there is also a Stephen Jones b Clyro 1787 who she thinks was born to this family. John Jones married Ann(b Hereford Town) Mary Ann Jones b1818 Chepstow m James Michael,Hay July 1846 Catherine Jones b1821 Lea GLS m Walter Chambers 10May 1843 Merthyr Francis Jones b 24 aug 1827 Hay Thomas? b 1829 Hay? Louisa 1830 Brecon town. Edwin Jones 1833 Hay. there may be other children I haven`t found. John was a publican in Lea near Ross on Wye then became a journeyman baker .He died in Merthyr between 1861 and 1871.I don`t yet know of a connection to the two farms you mention as I don`t know what Rees Jones did but there may be.
