Hello All. Here's mine: Ann Jones, b. 1833/6, Pen Y Gaer, Llanwyddelan (on border of Adfa and possibly part of Llwyncoppa farm just over the township border in Adfa). Ann Jones' mother Ann Gittins, daughter of Thomas Gittins of Llwyncoppa (who married Mary Pryce at Llanfair Caereinion on 7 February 1790). John Jones, b. 1835/6 in Llanfair Caereinion. Married Ann Jones sometime in the late 1850s. Despite searches, birth and marriage records cannot be found. In 1861, John and Ann are living in Welshpool with their family. Both are servants at an Inn. Later, John's full time occupation was with horse drawn transport. Ann is down in the census as a 'sausage maker.' In the early 1870s, the family migrated (walked?) to Llandudno, N Wales. John went first as a taxi driver. They died there but their death records have, so far, have been hard to find. Heddwch. Mike.
