Interesting as I have an Ann Swancott married to Richard Whittington and they had a daughter Elizabeth Whittington b.1759 in Aberhafesp . Elizabeth married John Tanner 19 Apr 1786 and they had three sons: Thomas, John and Richard. John Tanner is my 1st cousin, 6 x removed. Could be a different family from yours.
