Hi all listers I too am researching Prossers in Breconshire.  My grt grt grt grandfather was Roger Prosser b 1753 in Aberyscir.  He married Margaret Havard in 1796 in Llanfihangel Tal y llyn.  They had children - Roger b abt 1807-09 (married Ann Price of Merthyr Cynog), Elizabeth (b abt 1799,), Thomas (b abt 1802), David (b abt 1803-04), Anne (b abt 1807- died 1807) and Anne (b abt 1810).  Roger senior died 1854 age 101 and is buried at Llanfihangel Tal y llyn.  Roger Jnr, my grt grt grandfather had four children - Margaret (b abt 1846 in Bedwelty), Thomas (b abt 1843 in Tredegar), William (b abt 1841 in Tredegar) and John (b abt 1833 in Merthyr Cynog).  I descend from Thomas who eventually moved to Pontypridd in Glamorganshire.   If anyone recognises bits of this tree I would love to hear from them - I am particularly trying to find out more information about Roger jnr's wife Ann Price (b abt 1806 in Merthyr Cynog) - her family may have been non-conformist as John, her eldest child was baptised at the Ebenezer Chapel in Upper Honddhu nr Merthyr Cynog. many thanks Sue ----- Original Message ---- From: Tomi Larson <[email protected]> To: Powys Rootsweb <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, 4 January, 2011 0:39:33 Subject: [POWYS] Roll Call Hi Listers, It's a new year - how about a roll call of the names we are researching?
