Wouldn't you just know that as soon as I uploaded the PAF website to a temporary home, my ISP started playing up and I now cannot access it. I also use PAF for my online trees at World Connect. See http://www.muirfamily-genealogy-online.co.uk/ The Lloyd PAF tree has been uploaded again and you can see this at http://www.muirfamily-genealogy-online.co.uk/lloyd/ My best wishes, Jill Glamorgan Mailing List's website http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~glamorgan/ -----Original Message----- From: powys-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:powys-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Jill Muir Sent: 16 November 2012 15:09 To: powys@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [POWYS] Printing Family Tree Congratulations on still using Reunion Mike, it is an excellent program. I use a variety though mainly Family Tree Maker. PAF was the first one I used though, and it makes a good and easy website, but you have to edit it otherwise you will have some odd phrases. You may find some in this site, such as: [Morgan was employed as in Blacksmith. He joined religion in Independent?] which I have uploaded especially so folks can view. http://www.shottle.plus.com/lloyd/ Regarding starting with two sets of ancestors. I have done this by using the family which I have less detail on to start with, and when it joins the other branch I add 'See XXX tree' and then produce the other tree with the two ancestors starting it at the top. Any of the FH programs do this 'top to down', descendant tree, I am sure.
