    3. I haven't been active on this list for some time, but I have been lurking about in the background. Now I'm back to my Welsh ancestry after having been working in other parts of the forest. I seem to remember that there is a website where you can find information about Welsh clergymen in the 17th-18th centuries. It gave a list of them, where they were educated and where they served. Is there such a site? If so, where is it? I am particularly interested in David Richard who may have served in Llansannor, Glamorgan, around 1750. Any suggestions will be appreciated. The Surman index has already been mentioned, although this is for nonconformist clergy (mainly Congregational/Independent churches). There are also various published lists of university graduates (e.g. Alumni Oxonienses and Alumni Cantabrigienses), although Wales had a relatively high proportion of non-graduate clergy - see also http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/TheoColl.html. The main unpublished archival sources for beneficed clergy and curates would be the diocesan registers in the National Library of Wales. AJ
